PU Presents: Dead Zed Zombie - Monka-Hunka-Chunka Love!

PU Presents Dead Zed Zombie: Episode 4, Season 2
Monka-Hunka-Chunky Love

Welcome one and all to another episode of Dead Zed Zombie presented exclusively by Pittsburgh Underground! Well the holidays have come and gone and we're all back to the grind of our daily lives (or deaths as is the case with our old pal Dead Zed).

As the year pushes on it's safe to say we've all felt a little under appreciated at times as we do whatever it is we do. Even Zed feels the banality of his own daily undead existence as you'll plainly see in this episode.

With that said we want all our viewers to chime in this time - post some comments, replies, etc. about Dead Zed Zombie, Rico Roacho, and Wolfgang Moonbang! What do you want to see in a future episode? LET US KNOW!!! We love hearing from our viewers and we want to know what you think!

Like us on your Facebook page and follow us on Twitter! Also, post to us on our blog at www.PU-Zine.com We want to hear from you (especially Zed - he's driving us frickin' nuts!). And as always, don't forget to stay tuned - we'll be back next month with an all new episode!

Fundays At 420: Saturday Morning in Space!

Space Ghost, Moltar, & Zorak  (Hanna Barbara)

Hello primitive earth beings! It time again for another Fundays at 420 segment on Pittsburgh Underground! This week we wax the light nostalgic with a look back to the future! Set the wayback machine between the era of 1970's and 1980's - destination Saturday morning cartoons! Back in the the days of pet rocks and disco as it bled into Flock of Seagulls hair and gummy worms, we were all looking to the future and all it's possibilities.

Although there were as many interpretations of what was to come as there were actual music videos on MTV, on thing was for sure - the future was going to be a better place than the stink we were sitting in. Hell, even old staples like the Fonz and the Happy Days Gang, the Partridge Family, Gilligan's Island, and Josie and the Pussycats all took a quantum leap in what could be.

So sit back and relax, for the future looks bright in these futuristic themes from this 80's cavalcade of cartoons!

PU it Stinks!: Government Censorship of Your Internet

Greetings users! The gang here at Pittsburgh Underground does our best to stay out of the political spectrum if at all possible, but there are times when the whirlpool of disaster known as Congress can't help but suck PU toward their gravitational pull of doom.

With that said -  if you're an avid internet user, can't go a day without your Facebook or Twitter, and are a Wikipedia or Google addict, then you are most likely aware of the big blackout today in response to the geniuses in Congress who are attempting to make our life on the information super highway a lot less super.

Basically, there are two bills before Congress right now known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) and the Stop Online Privacy Act (SPOA) that would censor the net to a former shell of what it is now. Both bills would employ similar methods of censorship that are already imposed in China, including search engines that would be forced to delete entire websites from their search results.

In a word - it's the usual bag of dicks that our government wants to force us to swallow.

Fear not programs! Our saviors from Google have stepped up today with an easy way to give the electronic high hard one to Big Brother in the form of a quick petition that will be presented to the boobs that run our country before they vote on these insipid new rules on January 24th, 2012. To jump on the big FU to Congress train, check out Google's End Piracy, Not Liberty Campaign and sign up today!

Google is up for the right to fight for your civil liberties, even President Obama digs the cause, and you know that the gang here at good ol' PU will go in swinging until the last bad idea goes down with a thud! Show those congressional cock-smokers that you will not be silenced and that quiet frankly...

PU IT STINKS!!!

PU it Stinks!: Back to the Grind...

BLAM I SAY! BLAM!!!

Happy bloody New Year my minions! Well here we go again… the holidays have now melted away from memory leaving only the course grit of the daily grind ahead. I don’t know about you, but after having two full weeks of uninterrupted bliss only to be forced back into the daily reality of our everyday survival has been more of a urinal cake than a cake walk.

The worst of this grim return comes from the inevitable adjustment period that most of us have to make from ‘care-free’ lifestyle while off on holiday to the overly regimented oppression we soak up daily in order to cobble out a meager living for ourselves. Although being thankful for having a way to support oneself can’t be overlooked, it can however, numb us to the constant gorging from the shit trough in order to achieve that universal goal that we all strive for - complete and utter freedom to do whatever it is we want to do, even if it is only for a few measly weeks out of the long year.

Not to beat a dead horse, just understand that the gang and I from Pittsburgh Underground completely sympathize with your plight. If your week has been anything like mine – bottomless meetings that equate to being hit in the head with a sack of hammers, endless small talk about topics no one cares about, and irritating commutes within a sea the of fools then you’re in good company. Finally, factor in acclimating yourself to ungodly wake up times tangled up in sleepless nights, forced feeding schedules with lackluster, yet pricey, cafeteria food combined with overly-sunny co-workers that can’t wait to start the work year and you get where I’m coming from – the ratio of shit eating to blissful ‘me’ time is a grossly mismanaged mess.

Now… with that off my chest, just remember that the gang here at PU gets it and we are here to soften the inevitable blow to your shattered soul caused by your daily dose of bending over. Stop back soon – we have lots of fun to keep your mind off the pain. You are not alone in this fight so when the world has got you ground down to a bloody pulp, just remember...

PU IT STINKS!!!

Geek Gear: Because You Didn't Get What You Wanted

Good evening you shambling shifty-eyed sharts! The big man himself, Sandy Claws, has come and gone, and we at the Pittsburgh Underground find ourselves...mostly satisfied. What's that, you ask? What more could you possibly want other than honey-baked ham, a nog hangover, a decayed index finger in a velvet-lined box, a mysterious abundance of pine needles in your knickers, and a big ole sledgehammer? Do you also find yourself feeling a little let down by your holiday haul? Allow Mad-Dash, your mistress of the deep corners of the interwebs, to present you with some great post-holiday deals. You greedy bastards.
